Confessions of a Streamaholic

There are so many amazing releases coming in May, see below some of the notable series and a blockbuster sequel that is coming this month and I am so excited to watch every one of them.

The Devil Wears Prada 2: 1st May – When I tell you I am so excited for this, I MEAN IT! When this was announced I legit screamed, such an iconic film and with the return of an incredible cast and some very well known faces making an appearance this could be my movie of the year. From the trailers and teasers on social media it is giving the same energy and I think will be just as witty as the first movie. It comes out tomorrow and I’m having to wait until Monday to see it, so it’s going to be hard not to get spoilers.

Off Campus: 13th May – This is an adaptation of the novel series Off Campus by Elle Kennedy, starting with the first book ‘The Deal’ following Garrett & Hannah. I haven’t read the book but I might try before it comes out as all over social media is people saying what they hope stays true from the book to the series. Since watching the trailer Belmont Cameli (Garrett) is all over my Tik Tok, dare I say he may be the next big thing ahead of Conrad Fisher, big statement to make I know but Prime just manage to make really good book to series adaptations which gives you all the feels.

Rivals S2: 15th May – I love love love this series, I have recommended it to everyone I know and still only a handful of people have watched it. It is so fun and packed full I can’t wait to see where this season goes, I hope Rupert and Taggie get together and possibly something between Danny Dyer’s character Freddie and Lizzie played by Katherine Parkinson. I’m sure I’ll have binged all of Off Campus before this comes out other wise I’ll be getting no sleep trying to get them both watched!

Criminal Minds Evolution: 28th May – This is Season 19 of the hit show, a show I binged watched last year so this is the first new season I have had to wait for, I’m really excited to see where they take it after last season as that kind of comes to a conclusion so surely they are going to pivot. I’m really sad characters like Spencer Reid and Derek Morgan aren’t in the show anymore but glad we still have a lot of the original cast in the show. Also not looking forward to getting an episode a week when I binged the whole thing since they are known for cliff hangers.
