I know letterbox is for Films, but I had to give a break down of what my top 4 series are of all time because I probably consume more shows than films:
Greys Anatomy: When I started watching it I wasn’t sure it would be for me as I hadn’t watched a medical show before, boy was I wrong. I had to get myself through the first season and after that I was hooked. PICK ME, CHOOSE ME, LOVE ME! It is just an iconic series. I became even more obsessed with it when they introduced Mark Sloane & Lexi Grey, probably an unpopular opinion but love them more than MerDer. So although I haven’t watched all 21 seasons (as currently stands) many times over Seasons 5 – 8 have been rewatched ALOT. Some of the storylines are just crazy that you can’t not be invested in this show, just when you think things are going fine, BANG! something happens. I know some people have fallen off from watching it cause it’s so long but I’ve spent so much time watching it I feel like I need to know what keeps happening and the end of Season 21 had me on the edge of my seat so I need the next on ASAP.

Gavin & Stacey: I probably watched this way to young but it has always been a favourite. I got the personality of the characters and some of the humor when I was younger so like with most things, the more I rewatch the more I pick up and end up laughing more at how I didn’t pick this up before. I could say confidently that I know nearly word by word a lot of the iconic scenes and my trivia knowledge is pretty good too. My friend got me ‘The Gavin & Stacey Quiz Book’ for Christmas and when going through one of the Christmas episodes didn’t even need the option answers sometimes I just knew the answer from the top of my head. I love all the characters but Pam & Bryn are firm favourites for me very quotable with a ‘OH MY CHRIST’ or ‘And I’ll tell you for why…’. People watch Gilmore Girls in the Autumn months I rewatch Gavin & Stacey like its an advent calendar to Christmas.

Hart of Dixie: This is a new favourite of mine as I only started watching it at the start of this year but it made an impact. I do like Gilmore Girls but I think just because of the easy watching and cosy vibe the town of Bluebell gives off I might rewatch Hart of Dixie, AGAIN. You might think I have only watched this once since I started it not long ago and the answer is. Yes, if you mean all the way through, if you don’t then NO. I have rewatched certain episodes multiple times just because I loved what unfolded or was secretly hoping for Wade & Zoe to get together. Like I said it is a very easy show to watch and like most shows there are characters who are put in just to add stuff to the show and Bluebell, Alabama certainly have a lot of them but what it also has is one of the best love triangles ever! Zoe for the first season has a crush on George Tucker, nice guy but I’ve always backed Wade Kinsella as from the off they just have some great back and forth. I won’t spoil what happens but I have raved about this to everyone to give a watch.

Friends: This TV show is looped on my Netflix, if I can’t find anything to watch or not in the mood for something that takes up brain power, Friends is usually what I put on. The length of the episodes gives you flexibility of how much you want to watch and you could jump in anywhere no matter what season and be able to know what’s going on. The lovableness of the characters and their different personalities makes this show the phenomenon that it is, so many memes, quotable lines and an iconic theme song/intro. I couldn’t pick out a favourite character but I know I quote a lot of Ross especially just random things like ‘it’s my sandwich’, ‘holiday armadillo’, ‘I’m fine’ or my favourite ‘I’m an 8’ when he get’s the spray tan. This will probably be on a lot of people’s list but how could it not be it’s one of the biggest tv shows around and I’m sure generations to come will enjoy it the same way.

Honorable Mentions: Our Girl, The Vampire Diaries, Criminal Minds & Stranger Things
